The Summer Solstice marks the time of the longest days and shortest nights. It represents the day of the year when the sun is at its most powerful.

The Summer Solstice is the peak of expressive and expansive personal energy. Although the days begin to grow shorter after the solstice there is the promise of greater abundance still to come.

The sun invigorates our spirit and we feel that many of our aspirations can be achieved in the new year. This is the time of celebration when goals from the passing year have been harvested and therefore realised.

This is the time to begin to prepare for the new cycle of cultivation which is about to begin. As well, this is a time to replant those goals that have remained unfulfilled.

Strength and endurance can be gained if we reflect and learn from our experiences from the passing year.
